Not Exactly The News
Andro Ramirez

Ecstasy and piety; drugs and faith. These occupied the mind of Victorina this week. We are still following the case against Embassy and its, errrr, poster boy Tim Yap. More and more, we are seeing actual results as legal cases seem to be coming soon. Victorina is still on the lookout as we send some of our writers to interview PDEA agents, while Trixie tries to review the cases. Boldstar's article about the cult of the black Nazarene divided the house. I sent some copies of the comments to some of my friends at the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines. They were alarmed of the amount of anti-catholicism voiced in the blog. I hope it will be a wake up call for them to realize that they are not as influential as they think they are, and that they seem to be out of synch with today's reality. Meanwhile, we asked Andro to give us a weekend news round up.

The P 1 Million Nuisance Question

This proposal by the Commission on Elections in my opinion is discriminatory in nature and curtails the right of any individual to run for public office. Of course there are nuisance candidates that indeed file their candidacies during election period but isn’t it the job of Comelec to weed them out? Imposing a P 1 Million Bond only displays the indolence of Comelec in performing their mandate and will only allow the RICH or PAWNS of the RICH to run. Even if a candidate can post a bond, the Comelec still has to weed out who among those who filed could be considered a nuisance candidate. So what’s the point?

Valley Golf Brawl

The Dela Paz Family was expelled from Valley Golf and Country Club’s roster of members while DAR Secretary Nasser Pangandaman, Sr. was suspended for two years and his sons banned for life. Well, I can’t blame the Club for penalizing its members. The club, as in all clubs has rules. Both sides needed to follow these RULES. Somewhere along the line, someone broke them. Cases were already filed. It’s up to the courts now to decide who indeed was the aggrieved party in this show of “Kilala mo ba ako?”

Alabang Boys(?)

Illegal drugs and paraphernalia were found during the entrapment operation, period. Personally, it doesn’t matter to me whether these boys(?) are users or even pushers. Both carry a penalty if caught. Allegations flew left and right and the involvement of millions allegedly paid to grant the temporary liberties to the accused and the irregularity of their arrest. Blah blah blah. One thing I learned from this issue: Rich kids who use illegal drugs are now called “social users,”--- “no big deal” as one of the parents of the accused said. Poor people who use illegal drugs however are still called drug addicts. Contrary to public perception, labels are still important to those who have money. Even in crime, the rich creates a divide between the rich and the poor. Tsk Tsk Tsk.

PDEA and Poultry

Thanks to Major Ferdinand Marcelino, I’ve learned the relation of poultry to bribes. He alleged that he was offered “tatlong manok” or the sum of P 3 Million by his Mistah not to file charges against the so called Alabang Boys(?). To this date however, the “tatlong itlog” are still being held in custody, while an “inahin” appointed herself anti-narcotics “czar.” A misnomer because “czarina” should be the proper term. Well, I’m not surprised since almost all actions of government as of late have been inefficient, if not wrong.

Cases for Sale

No less than Ombudsman Mercedita Gutierrez confirms the existence of case fixing at the Department of Justice. The palace by the polluted river chose not to comment on what Ombudsman Gutierrez stated. By this, it is further confirmed the existence of poultry farms in the country’s justice system wherein a “manok” is the preferred denomination. Why then are the “bugok na mga itlog” the only ones who are hatching? And if a case is finally held in court, is it therefore correct to call it “sabong?”

Computerized Elections

The Comelec is still waiting for the P 11 Billion Supplemental Budget to finally automate 2010 elections. Considering that we still use the “Mano-Mano” system since the time of our ancestors, this will be a welcomed change. If there will be no incidents that will hamper the release of the budget, and the elections push through in 2010, then we can finally rid ourselves of unwanted politicians with the speed of modern technology using only one finger. That is if we use touch screens in the elections. Losing candidates can no longer cite “dagdag-bawas” as a reason why they lost. New reasons that might crop out would be attributed to systems failure, computer virus, hacking, phishing, spam, ham, gaddam.

Brian Gorrell is spewing mud all over kingdom come with his revelations on certain well-known personalities here in the country. Loathe as I was to admit it, he lends credibility to his revelations through the photos that accompany his blog entries. And he has been very consistent with his entries. Well, personally, as I have read it, that is. I watched Delfin (DJ) Justiniano Ocampo Montano II in Korina Today with his family and godfather when they were interviewed about the controversy. DJ Montano was inconsistent in his answers. There were just certain questions that I believe nailed it for me.

    * Why would an HIV-positive man, who sold his property in Australia to be with you in the Philippines and who requires expensive medication in order to survive, squander all that money just to live like a king, as you and your stepfather put it? If he did, did it ever occur to you to stop him, knock some sense into him?
    * You claim that Brian is just using his blog to extort money from you. Normally, an extortion act goes like this: the extortionist calls up the, uh, extortionee and demands that if the extortionee doesn’t pay up, he will expose the skeletons in your closet. In his blog, Brian has exposed so much dirt about you that it would make a fertilizer factory extremely happy. Why would he risk his chances of not getting that money from you, if indeed it was extortion?
    * And if indeed it was extortion, why threaten to sue him with libel and defamation, and not extortion or some such related crime?

These are just some of the questions that made me think that Brian Gorrell might indeed be telling the truth. You can read Brian’s blog yourself. Just go to this link and see for yourself if he indeed is telling the truth.

Anyway, back to the main issue here. Is blogging good or bad? Why is there a campaign that says people beware of the blog?

After briefly holding his Australian bite, scorned lover Brian Gorrell resumed posting scurrilous stuff on his blog against his ex-Filipino boyfriend, this time removing the salacious gossip he had posted against his so-called Gucci Gang of ex-Filipino friends.

Even more wicked, Gorrell published a letter from the lawyer of socialite columnist Celine Lopez, who the Australian now classifies in the same underclass as his ex-lover Delfin “DJ” Montano.

“Good day! We write in behalf of our client, Ms. Celine R. Lopez, regarding the blog, which you have established, called delfindjmontano.blogspot.com supposedly as a result of the money problem you supposedly encountered with Mr. Delfin Montano, who used to be closely associated with our client along with other several personalities whom you cited in your blog,” wrote Ma. Concepcion Jimenez Aquino.

“Our client has relayed to us that Mr. Montano supposedly owes you money and that you have been demanding the said amount from him as well as from his friends, including Ms. Lopez.”

“We have also been informed that Ms. Lopez and another friend of hers, Mr. Marco Antonio, have both been persistent in asking Mr. Montano to settle and resolve this affair with you but all they were getting from him were vague answers and a series of denials,” continued the Lopez counsel.

“At this point, we just want you to know that our client is no longer in communication with Mr. Montano and in as much as she wants to help you with your problem with the latter, our client does not have the capacity to assist you as she was not privy to the transaction which only you and Mr. Montano can properly resolve.”

The letter did not help and, instead of being pacified, the legal advice apparently all the more goaded Gorrell to bring out more toxic stuff.

CELINE LOPEZ' brother TITO threatened to kill us in CUISINE!

What was supposedly a fun night turned sour when all of a sudden I noticed this tall, thin guy looking at Ko (and looking at me alternately, he was probably looking at me because I was the only one looking back at him) he summoned a bouncer of Cuisine while looking at our direction and gesturing with his fingers that he’s going to kill Ko. I instantly felt scared. I even told Rod what I thought was happening. Koichi then approached their table as he already knew what was happening. He tried to shake the guy’s hand but the ugly, anemic guy said:

I’m not going to shake your hand! Do you even know who I am? I own Meralco! I own ABS-CBN! I’m a Lopez!

(apparently, the guy felt threatened by Ko’s advances towards the chicks. He claims that he owns those two girls) Ko left him and sat down beside Rod again this time he was smoking his cigarette with his eyes fixed in one direction avoiding the lunatic’s gaze. The ugly anemic guy was still motioning to the bouncers to make Ko leave the bar or else he will call his body guards and have Ko killed right then and there. Some of the guys with the ugly anemic were with are even friends of Ko. One approached our side and urged Ko to just leave so there will be no trouble.

The friend even apologized to Ko and said that their lunatic friend is just drunk (drunk or drugged? Or both) they begged Ko to leave pronto to appease the ugly, stupid, anemic, spoiled brat, insecure loser that he is. This imbecile happens to be the brother of Celine Lopez, the social columnist of Phil. Star and a socialite “party” animal herself. But unlike her brother, I don’t think she makes anyone leave an establishment just because she is threatened or insecure. So, to make the shallow scene over, and because Koichi did not want to ruin the party of Finina, he left and went back to Cyma in Greenbelt where his friends were waiting for him. Carlo was wondering why Ko left all of a sudden. Rod and I couldn’t tell him what took place as Carlo might heat up and start the fight himself. After a while, we told Carlo what happened and as expected he was furious. He called Koichi and told him to come back. Cerlo told Ko that he’ll call some cops for back up. Too funny!

What happened to us that night reminded me of high school, only this time, the bad guy is much older. He was obviously on drugs that night that he felt he was Albertito Almighty only he forgot that he is a no body! A spoiled rotten brat sucking off his parents money to buy drugs. He is so insecure that he picks up fights with someone half his size. Mind you, that ugly person did not even stop after Ko left. He kept gesturing still with his index finger, slashing it across his neck trying to tell us that he’s going to kill us– or Ko.

I pity this poor guy. He is the most pathetic person in the bar that even the bouncers were mocking him. Carlo over heard one of the bouncers say: Insecure lang yan! He certainly made a big fool out of himself! After all, who would not feel insecure if you were kicked out of school, your name is Albertito, you look like a retard and you take cocaine to feel confident.

    Lopez son threatens TDG editor

A SCION of the Lopez clan threatened to kill the editor of The Daily Guardian while inside a popular bar at Smallville complex in Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

For no apparent reason, Tito Lopez, son of former congressman Albertito Lopez and former governor Emily Relucio-Lopez, threatened TDG executive editor Francis Allan L. Angelo Friday evening inside Flow Resto-Bar.

Angelo said the incident happened between 11:20-11:30pm Friday when he and lawyer Jojo Lutero of the Iloilo Provincial Legal Office went to Flow to meet two friends.

Lopez was standing by a table adjacent to the table where Angelo, Lutero and his friends were having a drink.

Minutes later, Angelo was surprised when he heard somebody whisper “Huwag kang titingin-tingin, hindi kita kilala. Papatayin kita (Don’t stare at me, I don’t know you. I will kill you).”

The TDG editor said he did not mind Lopez’s statement and went on to consume his drink and send text messages to his friends and girlfriend.

But Lopez kept on making the same threats until he moved towards Lutero and spewed the same warning.

Lopez, upon seeing Angelo fiddling his cellphone, then moved back to the latter and told him “Sinung tine-text-text mo dyan? Hindi ka maliligtas nyan. I dare you to go out.” Lopez followed his threats with a slap on the left portion of Angelo’s waist.

Former boxing champion William Magahin, who works as a bouncer in Flow, interceded between Lopez, Angelo and Lutero.

Lopez’s bodyguards later entered the bar and apologized for their employer’s behavior.

Angelo, Lutero and their two companions later went out of the bar to avoid more confrontation. Lopez and his bodyguards also went out some five minutes later.

The female acquaintance of Lutero later told Angelo that Lopez has been trying to meet them before the newspaper editor and the lawyer arrived at Flow.

Angelo is considering possible legal actions against Lopez.

    LAWYER to testify versus Lopez

A LAWYER of the Iloilo Provincial Legal Office will stand as witness in the criminal complaint that the executive editor of The Daily Guardian will file against Tito Lopez, scion of the famous Lopez clan of Iloilo.

Atty. Joseph Anthony Lutero agreed to back the allegations of TDG executive editor Francis Allan Angelo that Lopez threatened to kill them inside Flow Bar and Restaurant in Smallville complex, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

Angelo has decided to file charges of grave threats against Lopez upon advice of his legal counsel.

In an interview with Novie Guazo over RMN-Iloilo Monday evening, Lutero confirmed Lopez’s threatening actuations inside Flow in the evening of October 31, 2008.

Lutero said Lopez also threatened to kill him and his family for no apparent reason. He added that he is willing to execute an affidavit to strengthen Angelo’s case.

The incident happened while Angelo and Lutero were inside Flow past 11pm of October 31.

Angelo claimed they were standing by a table near Lopez when the latter approached the former and threatened to kill him.The Lopez scion even dared Angelo to go out the popular night spot and slapped him on the waist.

They care about the packaging and throw the away the the meat which is what we live for. If that is the case, we do not need anymore prosecutors or other govt. people and let computers perform the checks because our prosecutors anymore do not have the discernment of what is good for the society that only a human with intellect can perform. You are a true example of one who is looking out for the good of society. Boracay is the New DRUG DEN...

Why did Bora suddenly became a drug haven for these rich and famous?

Since the PNP launched its active and aggressive campaign to rid Metro Manila of drug addicts and scumbags way back in 2000, many of society's rich and famous got caught with their pants down. I remember an incident where a group of young socialites got caught in a drug bust operation in a palatial house in an exclusive village in Katipunan. They were not charged though after their influential parents interceded for their behalf. One of them, a good friend of mine, admitted that it is better to just go to Bora to have his hit since its becoming so dangerous and so expensive to do his thing in Manila. His family reportedly paid 2 million pesos to the raiding team just to escape jail.
There was also a very controversial sad story of a beautiful socialite who gave herself as a gift for one cop just to escape jail time. That socialite is quite known in the circles of power. When she got caught in one of the drug sessions in Valle Verde 2, she reportedly offered herself before the police officer. Still high on drugs, the socialite reportedly spent a hour with the cop inside one of the rooms of her friend. Charges were dropped. In fact, it was not even reported in the operations log.
The heat became so unbearable to these rich druggies that they "migrated" to Bora just to have their fix. Reportedly, there are three sources of drugs there. In Station 1, at least two big-time drug pushers operate the illegal trade there. In Station 2, you can get your stuff in at least three bars there, one of the pushers is a Westerner.
Models, socialites, socialite wannabes, lifestyle writers, lifestyle editors and showbiz personalities are get their high in Bora. Sex orgies are a dime a dozen in Bora. You can even get one for free.

  40. lito Says:

VICTORINA expose celebrities and socialites who died early and see the connection. Yun Lang!

Druggies among the rich and famous have two sources of drugs. One source belongs to the Pasig drug cartel being operated by the son of a retired general. This group gives their stuff to drug addicts from Valle Verde and reaches as far as Alabang. Proceeds from their illegal activities are laundered through their lucrative luxury vehicle business. One of their drug pushers got killed in early 2002 when he wanted to get out of the business but the group never wanted him to.

Sources from the underground revealed that this cartel sells shabu, marijuana, cocaine and ecstacy. It was said that this cartel also supplies drugs to showbiz personalities. The drugs that one showbiz person took cost him his life during the time of Erap. Another young showbiz personality got hooked on drugs that he threw himself down a high-rise building in Metro Manila. All their sources belong to this cartel.

Everyone has their favorite way of using the internet. Many of us search to find what we want, click in to a specific website, read what’s available and click out. That’s not necessarily a bad thing because it’s efficient. We learn to tune out things we don’t need and go straight for what’s essential.
