Vic Agustin’s “Our Latest Cocktail” issued a statement that Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr “drinking expose” did not come from the camp of Ms. Corina Sanchez-Roxas. Well, just today Ms. Corina Sanchez’ business manager Girlie Rodis issued a statement defending Sanchez.
Agustin writes “ Broadcaster Korina Sanchez, back from her overseas trip, has asked her business manager Maria “Girlie” Rodis to issue a categorical denial on the attempt to link the better half of Mar Roxas to the viral e-mail about a “drunk” Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr.

Rodis said she handles Sanchez’s official Facebook and Multiply accounts, and that no way could the Ochoa photo or e-mail have emanated from any of her client’s accounts, as the brains behind the wicked e-mail would like to portray.

“There are and have been several fake accounts of Ms. Sanchez on Facebook, in blogs, Twitter and Multiply that we have diligently made disclaimers to,” Rodis said. “The Ochoa article may have been forwarded to these fake accounts and then passed onwards using Ms. Sanchez’s name.”

Neither does Sanchez nor she know a certain Victoria Salvador, who apparently was one of the first recipients and forwarders of the Ochoa e-mail.

“Ms. Sanchez also does not maintain a ‘media staff”,” Rodis said. “She has no need for such a staff. My office takes care of all of Ms. Sanchez’s media requirements.”

A lot of netizens have been inquiring if indeed the “little president” is indeed a heavy drinker… Well, one Victorina’s favorite site Professional Heckler writes “House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte says his protégé, former Quezon City administrator and now, Executive Secretary Paquito “Jojo” Ochoa Jr. is “not a heavy drinker.”

In fact, “the last time he got so drunk,” Belmonte said, “Binuhat ko siya. Magaan naman.”
